Brintons - Indústria de Alcatifas Lda., guarantees the safeguarding of the right to data protection, which are provided voluntarily and authorized by the Data Holder, which will be treated confidentially, under the terms of the law in force.

The information and personal data contained in the Curriculum Vitae or other similar document or contact form for employment, sent or filled by any candidate for a job, by mail or other support, will be processed in an automated manner, with the purpose of recruitment and selection of candidates.

By providing such information and personal data to the company, the applicant gives his or her consent to the processing of the information and personal data by the company.

Such data may be communicated to the Group companies as well as transferred to the database of other companies located outside Portugal belonging to the Group (where applicable) in order to provide a greater area of employment opportunity.

Such information and personal data will not be marketed or assigned to third parties.

In cases where the Groups recruiters are located in countries outside the European Area, the company guarantees the data holder that the said international transfer is carried out in accordance with the law, in particular with regard to guarantees, and can access them through the space reserved for that purpose, on the companys website.

The supply of any sensitive data, only when legally admissible, shall be processed for the purpose of recruitment and selection of candidates if they are relevant and pertinent for those purposes, considering that the data are provided on the basis of the consent of the data holder.

Candidates have the right, at any time, in accordance with the law in force, to access, rectify, erase, limit or oppose the processing of data concerning them, using the space available for that purpose on the company’s website or by e-mail to: rgpd@brintons.pt if you wish to exercise these rights.

Candidates are also entitled to withdraw their consent at any time under current law and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Brintons will keep personal data of the candidates for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which they are collected, and without prejudice to the provisions of labor law.

The data collected within the scope of this privacy policy does not constitute the fulfillment of a legal or contractual obligation. However, if the applicant is selected, personal data will be used for the preparation of the contract.

The data collected will not be subject to automated decisions. The data can be used to define profiles for the sole purpose of determining the candidate to be selected. If the applicant does not authorize to be subject to a decision based on the profile, he / she must expressly declare or refrain from sending an application.

Brintons has implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, unauthorized alteration, unauthorized access and disclosure and against any form of unlawful processing.

Employees authorized to access personal data are bound by the duty of confidentiality.
